Dear Community, At this time when we are witnessing a storm that is being reported as one of the worst in history to affect the United States. So many of us feel helpless not sure how we can help or what to do. While we are not certain what the reason is for such a storm, we at The Kabbalah Centre are blessed to have the Zohar, a tool that we can use to send a consciousness that can transform negativity to Light. The Portion of Korach, discusses an earthquake, a natural disaster. We know that our teachers have taught us that by reading and scanning from this portion we are given the power of mind over matter, consciousness over physicality. Let’s band together as the powerful and united community that we are and lend our consciousness to help those who need it most from us at this time. We can meditate and use our tools to affect positive change in the path of this storm.  Please read and scan Volume 18 of the Zohar, portion of Korach. Let’s use our efforts to push back the storm... In this week’s Bible reading, Abraham becomes the leader of a great nation when he is 100 years old. Now you and I might consider this to be a rather dramatic life change to undergo at such an old age, especially since there are probably those among us who, at 40 or 50 years of age, might say, “Change? Me? Why? Half my life is over with. I’m too old for that!” However, if we look at the lives of many great leaders throughout history, we will see that some of them didn’t even start their careers until they were in their mid-40s. In fact, many of the people with the greatest accomplishments in this world were leading completely different lives until they pulled themselves up by their bootstraps in middle age and made a change. This week’s energy challenges us—no matter what our age or how far we think we have come—to break out of our comfort zone and to accept responsibility for the Light we have come to share with the world. The truth is that each of us has been given x amount of time... Read More

I’m sure you’ve all heard about Malala Yousufzai, the brave 14-year-old girl in Pakistan who was shot in the head by the Taliban because she refused to give in to their orders that young women should not attend school. For the past few years, Malala had been writing a blog about the injustices she was experiencing as a girl in Pakistan, trying to awaken and inspire others to take a stand as well. Last November, her blog won her Pakistan's first National Peace Prize. Malala is a girl with no fear, a girl who has never held back from pushing and striving and going the extra mile. She is someone who was not afraid to risk her life in order to plead for what she felt in her heart was right. Malala’s courage to take a stand and to believe that she could make a difference has touched people all over the world, and she is in our thoughts and prayers as she recovers now in a hospital in the UK. We can learn a lot from Malala, especially as we head into the energy of the month of Scorpio,... Read More

A young man named Joshua once went to the prophet Elijah and said, “Elijah, can I go around with you for just a short time and watch what you do? Would you let me be with you to see how you are creating miracles and interacting with the world?” To this, Elijah replied, “Yes, you may come with me, but it must be under one condition: Please don’t ask questions. Just observe.” Joshua agreed, and so the two men set out and travelled to a small town where they found a poor family whose entire livelihood came from one single cow. They sat with the family for a few minutes before, to the family’s and young man’s astonishment, Elijah got up, went outside, and slaughtered the cow before their very eyes! Baffled and confused, Joshua started to doubt and question what Elijah was doing at this poor man’s house. Before he was able to speak up, however, Elijah told him firmly, “Wait a second. I told you no questions.” And with that, the two of them continued on their way. From the poor family’s... Read More

In the midst of such chaos in my life, I have been able to find peace through studying Kabbalah. Without any doubts whatsoever, I would highly recommend anyone to call. I am so thankful for The Kabbalah Centre, because it has made all the difference in my spiritual growth and development.

Kabbalah is the best gift I have had this year. But it did not come easy. It is a result of a lot of hard, focused, and disciplined work my teacher guided me through. Often I had to go out of my comfort zone to apply the tools. But the satisfaction and confidence I now feel is indescribable.

Now I look back and question what exactly I did and how I managed without these teachings in my life.
