When you age a fine wine, you age it in wood, a material that comes from the earth. If you try to create a fine wine in a cask of silver or gold, it becomes sour. Similarly, when we raise our children we need to give them the values of the earth. What do I mean by the values of the earth? What I mean is that we need to give them the value of commonality of humanity, the value of people, and the ability to grow and share with one another. If we only give them the value of things that can be bought with money, then unfortunately it is like we are putting fine wine in a silver or gold cup. The wine spoils and the children grow up without the ability to appreciate the simple things in life, like the beauty of a sunrise. Children are busy with the values they have been given, so we need to make sure we are giving our children the values of the earth, the simple values that will nourish them to become good people who are like the “salt of the earth.” Read More
As we know, the month of Virgo is a time to look inside ourselves and find those things that block us from the Light of the Creator. So, this week, I want to challenge all of us you to participate in a simple but powerful exercise. Go to a close friend—someone you can trust, someone who you know wants the best for you. You may even agree with the other person, but at the moment, you are less interested in the pursuit of truth; it is the idea of the debate itself that is reason enough for you to intellectually pursue the argument. In the midst of such chaos in my life, I have been able to find peace through studying Kabbalah. Without any doubts whatsoever, I would highly recommend anyone to call. I am so thankful for The Kabbalah Centre, because it has made all the difference in my spiritual growth and development.

Kabbalah is the best gift I have had this year. But it did not come easy. It is a result of a lot of hard, focused, and disciplined work my teacher guided me through. Often I had to go out of my comfort zone to apply the tools. But the satisfaction and confidence I now feel is indescribable.

Now I look back and question what exactly I did and how I managed without these teachings in my life.
