Whether we realize it or not, people communicate through brainwaves. Brainwaves are vibrations that travel in almost the same way as sound. The reason we don’t pick up on these vibrations is not because we can’t, but because we block ourselves by how and what we think. Rational thoughts—our left-brain intelligence—block us from our intuition, or right-brain intelligence. The next time you want to tap into your intuition, let go of the fear of looking stupid, lack of belief in your abilities, egotism, and all other negative emotions—that normally surround your thoughts. Allow thoughts—right, wrong, or neutral—to just come to you. In this way, you can learn to achieve a level of telepathic ability, which emerges from a place of non-rational intelligence, in other words, from a place of intuition. I don’t mean that you should concentrate on blocking your conscious, rational thoughts. The minute you do that, you’ve lost the connection. If you are busy thinking, “What am I supposed to... The Revelation of the Bible on Mount Sinai was more than just the mere giving of a book, a religion, or a philosophy. Instead, it was the fulfillment of every dream that humankind could ever imagine. This all-inclusive Energy Force of the universe included the keys for eternal happiness; the tools for overcoming chaos, pain, and suffering; the power of total healing, both physical and mental; the secrets for achieving personal fulfillment; and the tools for achieving immortality. Kabbalah teaches that this Revelation was for all of humanity and not just for a select few. Because we all contain a spark of the Divine, we all have access to this infinite realm of unlimited potential. The spiritual tools we need to overcome the physicality of this world are available to us, and it is time that we wake up to this fact. Read More

Our world is constantly evolving and changing, but with this change comes much chaos. The weather is going crazy, and so, it seems, are people. We understand that just before the dawn is the darkest part of the night. Right now, we are at this point. Now, more than ever before, we have the ability to enact change. The Lightforce of God is the only Energy that can bring an end to the world’s chaos, and each one of us has that Energy inside of us. When we share and treat people with human dignity, we reveal that Energy and thereby dispel the darkness, just as a candle brings light to a darkened room Make no mistake. The dawn is at hand. It is up to us to usher it in with our love and caring. Read More

There are differing opinions out there as to what a spirit guide is. Some say it’s the higher self, while others say it’s a type of consciousness. Define it as you will, but each and every one of us has heard a quiet inner voice at one time or another, even though we might have disregarded it. Oftentimes, we ignore it because it is telling us something that we do not want to hear. It might be saying, “I know this man seems like a good match for you, but maybe you should wait and find out more before moving ahead with a partnership.” Or it might be telling us, “Now is a good time to make that phone call.” Although we don’t always want to listen to it, the information that is being revealed to us is well worth heeding because our spirit guide is always there to bring us closer to the Light. What we do on a physical level is not as important as our soul’s imprint--what we have done to make the world a better place because we lived in it. Of all the things that we need to do in our life, the most important are those little efforts we make that allow our tiny candle to light the way for someone else. A child who, hearing us sing, gives us a kiss. An old person who, served by us, gives us true wealth. A child whose crying is eased by our tender care, gives us a great deal of peace. We all have opportunities to give of ourselves for the Light, and in this month of Cancer, it would be wise to take them; for at the end of the day, we are only measured by what we leave behind in way of kindness and of sharing Read More

Most of us do not keep a notebook, as the Creator does, of all the good and sharing deeds that other people do on our behalf. For example, when a friend we’ve had for many years does something to offend us, we somehow suddenly “forget” all the good times we've shared and all the wonderful things our friend has done for us in the past. Our heart is hardened by the immediate situation and we can’t appreciate or even see all that came before. The Creator, however, takes into account all of our actions, and our lives are measured by the net value of the love we’ve shared with others. Today, soften your heart a bit. When you look at someone, try to see all the love and kindnesses that have transpired up to this point. Look at others with love instead of judgment. Whatever you give to others, you also give to yourself. Read More
Just as something as pure as the spirit of Rachel the Matriarch came out of the difficulty and negativity of her father Laban’s house, so, too, do our own trying times in life create openings through which we can receive the spiritual energy we need to push us forward on the path of our soul’s evolution and growth. Light doesn’t come from Light. Light comes from darkness. Sometimes the hardest, most painful moments of our lives can lead to our deepest moments of serenity and connection to our own internal truths, and it is at these times that we can experience the beauty and fulfillment of the Divine. Today, take a few moments to look back on the most difficult moments of your experience. Can you see how these times brought you to a better place? Read More
On our path of life, there may be people and situations that will test our values in terms of what truth is and what it is not. In fact, the road to spiritual growth is often paved with challenges that awaken us to what really matters in our lives. The key is for us to recognize the great opportunities that lie in the uncomfortable situations we face, rather than to fall into our usual reactive patterns of doubt and victimhood that keeps us stuck right where we are. Today, when you encounter a difficult person or situation, ask yourself: What is this person or situation trying to teach me? What value of mine is being tested? If you can do that, then go ahead and embrace the situation for what it is: a beautiful opportunity to strengthen your direction in life, reveal your truths, and reconnect with the Light. Read More
When we first come to spirituality, we learn new things, feel new things, become more engaged with life, and experience enlightening moments that are both exciting and invigorating. But sometimes, after practicing for a while with the new spiritual tools we’ve received and perhaps joining a spiritual community, we may wake up one day and realize that we’ve gotten into a certain groove, a routine that we do without much thought. When this happens, it is difficult to know if we have made any spiritual progress at all or if we are just going through the motions and performing our spirituality with the same robotic consciousness we were trying to rid ourselves of in the first place. In the process of working towards long-term spirituality, how do we know if our spiritual practices have become rote? One point of reference is to note that if we aren’t different than we were six months ago or one year ago, then perhaps we are indeed in a rut. At the forefront of our mind and heart should be... What is certainty? Certainty is the knowing that whatever we encounter in our life, no matter how unpleasant or difficult, is there to benefit our spiritual growth. Certainty doesn’t happen when things are great. After all, if everything is going well in our life, if we’ve got everything we need and all is “peachy,” then why would we need certainty? Each one of us comes into this world with our own package: our own energy, job, and position in the Game of Life. For most of us, the road to achieving what we’ve been born to do is riddled with challenges. The value in having certainty is the understanding that the more effort it takes us to reach our place of growth, the more energy there is for us encased within the process. Hopefully, through the lessons we pick up on our journey, we will gain the ability to step back, look at a situation and say, “Hmmm, though this situation appears to be difficult, I know this is somehow an opportunity for me to grow.” It is certainty that allows us... Most of us know that how we eat, sleep, and take care of our body is of great importance in determining our health and well-being. But even more important is how we function and operate internally and spiritually: how our mind works, how we feel about ourselves, how we love or do not love, how we care, how we share, and how we give to others and how they give to us. These are the keys to creating the most important aspects of our state of being. Today, be gentle with yourself. Remember that you are an expression of the Infinite Divine Energy in this world. Be conscious of what is going on inside of you, not only what is going on outside of you. Awareness of where we are now is the first step to creating positive change for the future. Read More

Most of us hear, but we don't listen. We argue, we defend, but we don't listen. Listening means waiting that extra moment and recognizing that the other person may have their own way of doing things, and that if we were that person and came from the same circumstances they come from, we would probably think just as they do. Understanding this is the true nature of listening. Our job is not to judge another's actions; our job is to listen beyond words. Read More

All of us have no problem being spiritual when things are going right. But when things go wrong, we tend to throw everything we know out the window. But, you may ask, how can we be spiritual when the going gets tough? All of us have the ability to climb our mountains and face any challenge, yet we let that voice of doubt get to us when it says, "You can't make it. You won't get there. Give up while you can." Choosing to persevere when things aren't going our way: This is what spirituality is all about. Read More

The High Priest wore four kinds of gold clothing, which meant that for most of his priestly functions, he was magnificently dressed. But when he approached the Creator inside the Holy of Holies in the Temple, he wore only the most simple of linen clothes: white pants and a white shirt. What was the reason for this? And how does this apply to our lives? Every day, we dress ourselves for the world, in effect creating and projecting an image for the sake of others. But when it comes to talking to the Creator, we must offer ourselves simply and honestly. The Creator knows who we are and what it is that we need to do. The High Priest wore plain unadorned linen clothing inside the Holy of Holies because before the Light, there is no facade; there is only simple truth. Read More
Sometimes in the hustle and bustle of day-to-day life, it is all too easy to forget that we can call on the infinite, all-powerful Force of the Creator at any moment. In fact, the connection we have to this Energy is something we can and should acknowledge at all times, not just during times of need. Developing a relationship with this Force is one of the primary reasons we were placed here on this earth. Today, let’s take a few minutes to stop, connect, and acknowledge the presence of the Light of the Creator that is both within us and all around us all the time. We can burn a candle and sit in a quiet room, or walk outside and connect in the beauty of nature. Just five minutes of effort can make a tremendous difference in our day. Read More

Each and every one of us has certain tests to pass in our lives: certain elevations that we have to go through, certain pain that we need to feel, certain cleansing processes we must experience, certain specific missions that we have to accomplish. That’s why we’ve been put here on Earth. If we can go through our lives with the understanding that everything that we face and every place that we find ourselves is put in front of us to bring us to another level of spirituality, then we can move through each day with a new kind of strength and certainty. Indeed, while we may complain about our struggles, if we truly understood the process we are in, we would realize that everything is as it needs to be—and that we wouldn't have it any other way. In a healthy relationship between significant others, the two individuals are interdependent, like the sun and the moon. The moon doesn't need the sun to rise and the sun doesn't need the moon to set, but they do need each other to activate the universe. In our lives, we will have better relationships if we foster this sort of interdependence—a situation where each person strives individually to become a more loving, Light-filled human being. In this scenario, each person in the relationship has his or her own nature, but both find that their journey through life is more beautiful and offers more opportunities for spiritual growth when taken together. We can and often do spend a great deal of time and resources looking for “our self.” When we do so, however, we should be very clear and very careful about exactly what we are seeking because the whole point here is not about how to get more and more into ourselves, but rather how to get out of ourselves. When I talk about "self" in this instance, I mean the “little self”: the self that is full of fears, ego, and agenda—the “me” that wants it all now and for itself alone. The more we get out of our little self through caring, sharing, and spiritual growth, the more we find out both who we really are and all that we are composed of. Even better, the more we get out of our little self, the more we can experience our Essence—our love, strength, and courage—that part of us that is infinite and forever connected to the Creator. As we experience this Divine spark within, it shines through us and out into the world, elevating existence for all beings. Read More

In the midst of such chaos in my life, I have been able to find peace through studying Kabbalah. Without any doubts whatsoever, I would highly recommend anyone to call. I am so thankful for The Kabbalah Centre, because it has made all the difference in my spiritual growth and development.

Kabbalah is the best gift I have had this year. But it did not come easy. It is a result of a lot of hard, focused, and disciplined work my teacher guided me through. Often I had to go out of my comfort zone to apply the tools. But the satisfaction and confidence I now feel is indescribable.

Now I look back and question what exactly I did and how I managed without these teachings in my life.
